1967 Mercedes 250sl Pagoda
In my spare time, the full restoration of my 1967 SL has seen many late nights and thousands of hours of painstaking work since 2006 - more photos (including before pics) to be added along the way.
After a summer of concentrated effort to finish the car,hardtop restoration complete ,with new top tint glass, head liner, rubbers, chrome, these tops are a task in themselves with twice as many parts as the next generation 107 tops each piece has to be carefully reassembled in the correct puzzle like order to very fine tolerance, including 'bending' the rear quarter glass into the channels ! Dash instruments re installed with almost unused period range topping Becker Mexico fm auto reverse radio ,imported from New York - removed from Maserati in 1970 !
Now complete , 14 years later !
